With a focus on compassion and clarity, we guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel supported and informed.
We chose the name Divorce Doulas because just like a birth doula supports women through the challenges of childbirth, we guide mothers through the emotional and logistical complexities of divorce. Our mission is to provide a calming, supportive presence that empowers women to navigate the toughest moments with clarity and strength so they can show up as the best possible version of themselves in their motherhood and lives. The name reflects our commitment to helping clients make their divorce the most boring thing about them, so they can focus on building a new, thriving chapter of their lives.
Madeline Tuckfield is a single mother, certified project manager and film producer. In all of these roles, she specializes in creating systems that empower women to tell their stories. With a deep passion for supporting women through challenging transitions, Madeline is committed to fostering a community that uplifts and empowers women going through divorce. She applies her project management expertise and creative vision to help clients navigate life’s transitions with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
Courtney Cooper is an experienced mom, stepmom, and family law attorney with a strong background in negotiation and litigation – which is critical in all three of those roles! A graduate of Florida State University College of Law, she has worked extensively in family law, helping clients navigate the legal complexities of their divorces and advocate for their families moving forward. She has been in the trenches of divorce conflict with clients for over 15 years, and she is passionate about helping people feel empowered as they move through the system and in helping them find confidence in their paths forward. She loves a good success story, and she applies her experience and knowledge to clients as they create theirs.
Although Courtney has been an attorney, nothing within Divorce Doulas is legal advice. You should retain your own attorney and rely on that individual’s legal advice for your case.
